Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Murmur Technologies (“Murmur,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to making the Murmur platform accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, and people who navigate by keyboard.
1. Conformance Target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA, for our public website. WCAG is the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
2. Measures We Take
- Semantic page structure — headings, landmarks, and labeled navigation — so screen readers can move through pages efficiently.
- Full keyboard operability: interactive elements are reachable and usable without a mouse, dialogs trap and return focus correctly, and the Escape key closes menus and dialogs.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and hidden markup for decorative ones.
- Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation.
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences: animations are reduced or disabled when your operating system requests it.
- No restrictions on browser zoom or text resizing.
3. How We Test
We test the public website with automated accessibility tooling (axe-core) against WCAG 2.1 A and AA criteria, alongside manual keyboard-only and screen reader (VoiceOver) passes. Automated scans are re-run when the public pages change, and results are archived with dates.
4. Known Limitations
- Third-party components: sign-in, sign-up, and payment are provided by third-party services (our authentication and payment providers) and render inside our pages. We select vendors that publish accessibility conformance documentation, but we do not control the internals of those components.
- Color contrast: some decorative and secondary text on the public pages is under review against the WCAG contrast minimums.
5. Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on the Service, please contact us through the website and describe the page and the problem. We take these reports seriously and will respond as quickly as we can. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
